    Just like some are quick to write off players, with debatable stats, we should temper our 'excitement' if a potential player with decent stats comes along...

    Ward was a busted flush by the time he played for us. Yes, he was a handful with his back to goal and often was fouled. But he also fell over an awful lot too. Unfortunately, when he played for us, he was rubbish with his front to goal. He couldn't hit the proverbial cow's arse with a banjo.

    Indeed he couldn't. I will never forget Arsenal away one Tuesday evening at Highbury. He managed to miss a completely open goal from about 3 yards out.

    Went during cocktail week a few years back-loads of places with cocktails £5-£7 and few good ala carte menus for food, excellent times!

    Wardy was one of my most disliked players. Played like he was wearing roller skates when trying to stand or shoot. fair play for writing off the owed wages-I’ve a huge amount of respect for him as a person for that-just not as a footballer
