I wish someone would tell the players that we've had no success with long throws and maybe, once in a while try a short one. Can't these players think for themselves?

 

No they cant we have a team that ain’t got a brain between them from throws into the box from long punts upfield to Robinson this lot ain’t got a clue ............... let’s hope we only have another 4 games to put up with this crap and our scouts have some decent footballers lined up ................. I mean you need a goal and your option is Evans and Lavery !!!!!!!

City’s marketing team have done the best they can with the sows ear that’s on the pitch. Off the pitch there have been many improvements. Backing up commitments stated in the summer. Problem is that’s all well and good but unless the people on the pitch do a better job then you will still have a disenfranchised fan base, due in part to the mismanagement of the club since Parky left. Sparks kops a lot of stick. Some of it warranted and self perpetuated. But he doesn’t kick a ball for a living.

 

I'm no fan of Gilliead, but he probably had his best game for us last night.

still did nothing... he's a flair player but has absolutely zero end product.

we were absolutely toothless yesterday, the tactics made sense and could see the plan. the problem is Theo and Angol are really poor together... really need a new striker come Jan.

Atmosphere was abysmal last night and it's not been great all season. You can't get the players going if you can't get the Kop going to fire up the rest of the ground. The acoustics are better in the Kop and splitting the singing fans up this season has had the same effect as when they tried moving some into the Bradford end in with cheap season tickets. Even Colchester players goading the Kop a few times brought little response. It was flat on the pitch and off.

 

Watt misplaced 4/5 simple passes last night and were expected to believe higher placed clubs are watching him.
Hornby MOTM says it all that's not knocking the lad as he made two good saves but overall had very little to do although he looked confident in what he did.

 

I was a little suprised that ref didn't give it, he continued from where he finished against FGR making a simple game look very hard.

 

From our seats in the Sunwin it looked like his upper body but could have seen Red with that referee.

 

It's unbelievably clear on the replay saved it with both hands he didn't make two good saves he made one and should have been sent off

To make a call on MOTM would be a difficult one on last night's performance.

 

Yesterdays performance, from everyone, had the signs of hanging on til January. The players didn't look arsed, DA in his post match interview didn't sound arsed, Raynor couldn't be arsed to ask any pertinent questions, the fans couldn't be arsed to turn up, and those that did, couldn't be arsed to make any atmosphere (apart from the hero shouting "clueless" at the end of the match.) Even the ref couldn't be arsed to pull the red card out of his pocket. I'm beginning to question the fact, that the only person I saw being arsed was me, sitting through that borefest for 90mins.
