Adams is right with his quote in today's Post match interview, 'story of our season so far.' He knows where the weaknesses are, some of them inherited from a regime not interested in ambition. I'm not sure Adams has enough time this season to change it, or enough input from our owner to supply the necessary quality needed. The onus is now on Rupp, possibly in January but more likely the summer, to give Adams what he needs to finish the objective. Because it's clear with that extra incentive he will get us up.

Do we have to play a near full strength team at Sunderland on Tues or can we just put the U18’s in. We can’t afford anymore injuries

    I know it's so frustrating
why did he bring Robinson and Vernham off were they injured ??
You don't concede with the ball in the opposition half
    Google what causes hamstring injuries

The only solace is that it was a good performance. Let's face it, those City fans watching, or listening, knew what was going to happen. Robinson took his goal well and Sutton provided another all action performance.

It was just a re-run of several games this season. We can't convert enough chances and our game management isn't good enough. And, of course, another player out with a hamstring injury, no doubt glossed over by the manager in his post match interview.

It's becoming a very predictable (and frustrating) experience watching City this season.

You may have a point but the opportunity to criticise is there over and over again.

2 wins in 14.. Really poor set of results.

Shouldn't be a problem, we only seem to suffer the majority of injuries in training.

Adams doesn’t get off easy he lives of his reputation of success on small budgets that’s why he was hired. Adams getting to easy a ride compared to others with some supporter

Bradford City hiring a manager because they can succeed on a small budget in league 2 is exactly why all criticism should be aimed at those at the top, pathetic for Bradford City to hire someone for that reason at this level. That said I don’t believe that is the reason I’d be surprised if our budget was one of the smaller one even though it has been cut.

I’d like to think Rupp will have gone by next summer.

Agree @Park bantam@Park bantam 2 wins in 14 is abysmal however well we may have played or however many chances we have created
Managers have been shown the door with better results than that (not advocating he should go not in the club's best interest)
Not keen myself but would be the first to congratulate him on getting us out of this division

Is that based on any inside knowledge or just wishful thinking?

Might be a blessing in disguise. I’m not convinced by him to be honest as he misses far too many chances for me. Maybe a confident Robinson in a 2 will provide the answers. Saying that, we need at least 3 fit strikers so I hope it’s not long term.

It's all to do with core training. I used to suffer with hamstring problems, so I worked on my legs more. Didn't help. Went and saw a physio, and he asked me how much training I do to strengthen my back. "Its not my back doc, its my legs". No. It's all about the back. The back supports the abs. The abs support the core. The core support the lower body. He said, if you don't have a strong back, you can't support your stomach muscles. If you don't have stomach muscles, you can't stand upright. If you can't stand upright, then your quads and hamstrings are working harder than they have to. If they are working harder than they have to, they are already strained. One burst of speed, or some checking back and forth, and that's it - your leg muscles are going to get torn. WARMING UP can help prevent this. I remember AK, inbetween his usual bumblings and early goal chants, suggested that he thinks our pre match conditioning is not correct. I've unfortunately not been to any games for a while, but has anything changed during our pre match warm up? I'm thinking if not, then possibly nothing has changed during training sessions mid week. Who is our physio? What's his track record? I'd like to think, that Adams has brought his own man in?

I agree with this. Rather than lumping it forward we were playing off their defenders and trying to run in behind. I liked the Vernam and Robinson combo today and we looked less one dimensional.
