That is how l read it.

It won’t be City making a unilateral decision, it will be Government Regulation and subsequent Guidance.

l think the only thing the EFL/FA could do to help fans, is to make I-Follow available for Season Ticket holders, for all home games for the duration of any such regulation. No real reason, in such circumstances, why they couldn’t.

Please can we try and keep this thread to a discussion on whether or not COVID-19 passports, and other related restrictions (e.g. masks), will be required to attend City matches and the logistical issues if they are required.

Any debate about the rights and/or wrongs of COVID-19 passports, and other general COVID-19 debate/comments should go in the 'COVID-19' thread in 'General Chat', which is where a number of such posts have already gone.

I read the same as you. My point I was trying to make is what if a club that is averaging less than 10000 doesn't require vaccine passports, but what's to stop them having over 10000 in attendance for a future game without passports.

My point is shouldn't all clubs with capacity over 10000 have to comply whether they are averaging under 10000?

two words to anyone who wants a refund starts in f ends in f. they knew the potential score when they bought. Do they think the train companies will refund ticket costs if it came in there ?

I'd get a pass and be there. If i hadnt been vaccinated, i would get vaccinated, get a pass and be there. No time at all for any anti vaccers unless they have a genuine medical reason not to take it, and then if things regress they should shield.

Appreciate the effort but it's pointless which is why you keep having to put reminders like this.

You can't discuss whether Passports will be needed FOR CITY without discussing whether Passports are needed IN GENERAL. It's an impossible distinction.

Thats not the government’s problem. It’s the clubs.

If you have paid for something and you are not allowed in then you are entitled to a refund.

The government doesn’t care if a club loses business or not.

So you take the view that you are prepared benefit from paying the peanuts BCFC charge for a full season ticket, but if it goes tits up you've got a way out that could potentially leave them in the lurch but not leave you out of pocket ?

I paid in full and if I can't go because we go behind closed doors again will just accept it was my risk. I wont be looking for a refund. Ditto if the season ends.

I paid the money out, I don't need it back. Essentially I haven't lost money I have just paid more for the reduced product I got.

As a loyal supporter you shouldn't either.

Not proper and genuine fans of the club if they demand refunds……for a situation the government, not the club, will have created.

i agree I follow should be offered to fans as an alternative.

Yes, there has to be some leeway in the discussion, but many of the posts had drifted far off topic.

Actually it isn't. The thing purchased is still available. The customer is deciding not to attend.

Legally there is no standing for a refund.

Not sure why they should. It is the individual deciding not to attend. The option is there.

Obviously nothing stopping people that thought ahead from stopping their direct debit. Which some said at the start was their plan and that is their absolute right

I pay my golf club membership by dd.....when I signed up I'm sure there was a clause about non payment of dd, something along the lines that I would still be liable for the remainder of the balance.
Was something like this not in the City dd agreement?

    Just looked and saw this

Should supporters fail to pay their direct debit, their season ticket will be suspended, ticketing account placed in arrears and they will not be able to purchase a match or season ticket in future until accounts are brought up to date with the outstanding payment(s).

So it looks like if people, @Ricky@Ricky @Bantamsteve@Bantamsteve (not sure who mentioned about it), cancel their direct debit they can not buy next season
