Sutton again was our best player.

 

There are no tough games in this division, pretty much every team is bang average. Just some teams a bit more consistent than others.

 

Yet a lot of fans criticise Adams for only usually playing 1 up front and demand 4-4-2. Who would be a manager eh

You correct I've nothing to learn from you with regards football, we rode our luck at times but their finishing woeful, we got a point at a club who were in the play offs last season IMO a good point.

I agree that at 2.55pm if we could have had a point everyone would have said OK but the way the match went we started well in the first 20 minutes then totally regressed.

They probably should have scored from the goal mouth scramble first half and then Songo'o did brilliant to clear the ball off the line and then the crossbar being hit - they definitely had the better chances and we created very little and ultimately retreated through the first half.

Adams hasn't shown an ability to make tactical changes which change a game in our favour yet. Today on interview he said he changed our formation twice in response to their changes and we were clearly less effective at the end of the game than the start.

Still, we'd have all taken a point at the start probably.

I still see us scrapping around position 11-7 all season and ultimately needing to win 2/3 of our last 4 games to get in to the playoffs. We're not consistent enough to be around the automatics at the moment.

 

An end product to who though? Cook up front doesn't make any difference to the quality of ball coming in. Especially when he doesn't gamble. We could have Luke Shaw on the left, and Salah on the right, and we'd still not score goals.

I accept the ultimate goal but I've now to endure a 5 hour drive north and that was poor to watch.

I dont think we deserved anything from the game beyond a draw at any point, we never really dominated for longer than 5 minutes or so here and there. i think him showing a bit of fire is better than just being a passive statue, parky amongst others was no stranger to getting involved when it suited
