I’m really confident about this year.
I know it’s early but we are attaching with flair and defending in numbers.
I was always reserved when we had the good spells over the last few seasons. During the runs we seemed to be more lucky than good.
This first four games though are different. I’m so glad we got DA. I’m about to put a bet on us winning league one next season lol

And just look at Exeters' result they are not bad side and we could have beaten them

 

They were better on the right hand side today most stuff went out wide that side and if you have a 6'5" centre forward your going to win you're fair share of headers which they did.
Once again thd opposition had more possession but second half we looked dangerous on both flanks when Crankshaw came on, boy have I missed a atmosphere like today both sets of fans giving it to each other then when Cook scored the winner our end went wild, some game.

 

Looked like it could easily have been a red. It was a lunge and his foot was knee high. The ref was very lenient throughout which we benefited from on this occasion.

I not convinced FCD is cut out at this level to be a starting RB. Our right side has been exposed in the last 3 games we’ve played with him at RB and far too many crosses come into the box down that side. His distribution (short/long passing and crossing) is also pretty poor, needlessly giving the ball away.

One of the advantages of playing FCD is that we tempt teams to attack down that side so we know where they will play, In the meantime our other full back on the other side along with the midfield have a field day!!
