Popped into the gents toilet in the 1903 suite before the kick off, and the top wooden cover on the toilet cistern was still missing just as it was the last home game back in 2020/21, the old adage comes to mind "fur coat and no knickers"

 

You learn the basics at junior school like, get you're body over the ball when your shooting yet how many of our players thumped shots over the bar because they couldn't do the basics.

 

If you could teach I think a lot of otherwise good footballers would be great strikers yes I suppose you can improve on technique with repetitive practice but good strikers have an instinct you can’t teach

 

Well there is certainly a massive improvement in the kop with soap dispensers and automatic taps big improvement

They teach composure, not to stab at the ball or try to take the chance off balance, They teach how not to rush the attempt and more importantly better timing, You need the natural ability of course but to say that cannot be improved is nonsense, All professional clubs employ coaches in one manor or another, According to you we do not need a goalkeeping coach as the either you are a keeper or not and cannot be improved

 

Apart from a iick of whitewash on the walls, no difference in the toilets I went in yesterday in lower kop

Same as Angol in that they both probably just shade towards power rather than accuracy.
