IMO Paudie has a big season ahead of him. He still flatters to deceive. It was good to see Canavan shoving him away from trying to have a gob off to an Exeter player after a bad disputed tackle. Canavan's experience - and constant voice in his ear - will help Paudie alot. If he learns a bit more about temperament from Canavan, he'll improve for us. He has technical ability and strength, but just needs to get his positional sense more attuned to what's happening around him - and not blow up, if it's not to his liking.

As usual Trevor comment without research, he played 1003 minutes that equates to just over 11 full games. 21 league games I’m not bothered about the pizza cup. Hardly a leading player.

 

An alternative view.

 

If you can’t work out how many full games 1003 minutes equates to then never mind. Also you’re included cup games when talking about him being part of a promotion winning team, had we got promoted last season would we talk about the kids who played in the pizza cup being a part of the promotion team as argument for them being a good player?
