I know that mate, and that wasn't my point. My point was that if things were to change, in the circumstances I laid out, it wouldn't impact folk paying to watch City.

I wouldn't care who it was that was playing, there isn't a single game I'd want to watch above watching City.

No, they decided to go ahead regardless of any restrictions that may or may not be in place. The decision was made back in April.

The deal is with the SPFL not the Scottish Premier League and, I believe Sky cannot show Saturday 3pm kick offs. However, individual clubs can stream all their matches live. The options are a stream season ticket for all matches (including matches shown by Sky) or on a match by match basis (excluding Sky matches). All Saturday 3pm matches will be available either through the streaming season ticket or an a match by match basis.

There is no reason why a similar deal couldn't be made available in the England except that it seems a majority of the EFL
clubs do not seem to want it.

Based on the current fixture list and based on the current rules, these are City's league matches that are due to be streamed live in the UK. It should be noted that the bank holiday fixtures are shown at the discretion of the home club and , therefore the fixtures on 26 December and 15 April will depend on City agreeing (that should be a given), whilst the fixture on 18 April will be subject to the agreement of Colchester United.

Any other fixtures moved from Saturday 3pm will also be made available (unless moved for a live Sky broadcast).

    Tue 17 Aug (h) v Stevenage
    Sat 4 Sep (h) v Walsall
    Sat 9 Oct (a) v Newport County
    Tue 19 Oct (h) v Hartlepool United
    Sat 13 Nov (a) v Port Vale
    Tue 23 Nov (a) v Tranmere Rovers
    Tue 7 Dec (h) v Colchester United
    Sun 26 Dec (h) v Harrogate Town
    Wed 29 Dec (a) v Walsall
    Sat 29 Jan (h) v Crawley Town
    Tue 8 Feb (a) v Stevenage
    Tue 15 Mar (a) v Hartlepool United

I'm a bit puzzled by this. Why are a handful of Saturday games allowed to be streamed whilst the othe Sat games cannot be streamed? Is it anything to do with the international schedules?

Yes agree wholeheartedly the EFL are a joke, and the sad part of it is they now try to force you to pay £2.50 for Audio yes it is free if you can access through an old fashioned radio and live in the proximity of West Yorkshire, but they have blocked online listening forcing those that live outside west yorks to pay £2.50 why when last season I along with thousands of other supporters helped the club out by paying for my season ticket plus never missed a match away including the Micky Mouse cup games at £10 a pop, they will not get another penny from me for the way they treat the loyal supporters.

everybody talks as if the EFL is a serperate entity in itself making the rules - it isnt - it is the clubs who vote the rule changes and set the policy - the EFL are there is administer those rules and provide guidance and advice to the clubs when the are voting on rules and policy - iFollow isnt available on Saturdays becacause the majority of EFL clubs dont want it be

Yes that’s a very good point, so does that mean then that you will be able to watch Salford and Forest Green for a fee who have opted out of the IFollow and if that’s the case then Bradford City and Sparks need to address this because there are a lot of BC fans that would subscribe when they can’t get a ticket to some away games with limited capacity.

There are very easy ways to continue with Saturday Ifollow games for the ones you cant attend.

I will be watching Exeter vs City tomorrow from the comfort of my sofa here in Leeds.

No. The rules apply to ALL EFL clubs not just those that are part of iFollow. The only difference is the platform that delivers the feed.

And so it begins. And I'm not criticising people on here, the fans are not to blame, they just want to watch their team.

Supporters across the EFL have become very well acquainted with iFollow over the last year or so and I see this cascading of information as something that will be going on amongst fans at all the EFL's clubs.

The trickle becomes a large wave and then a large chunk of revenue will be lost to the EFL for many years to come. It is a mess of the EFL and its clubs' own making.

I'll take that and stop moaning about it now, as much s I'd like to see every away game I can't make on iFollow - it's better than a slap in the chops!

Whether you agree with this approach or not unfortunately if you cannot attend for whatever reason and want to watch matches dialling in via a VPN is the only option. I will be watching from Apperley Bridge via Paris!
