Just shy of a one in four striker across his career, with one single season skewing that. Compare that to Charlie Wyke who has had a similar career in terms of leagues played in and matches and he's one in three and fairly consistent with it.

 

In lower league football, I stick with my comment big risk for any Championship club.

 

On a free and low wages? Where's the risk if he's part of 3 or 4 competing for a place?

 

A big risk? Hes available for nowt and wont be demanding silly money.

Seems like a very small risk in terms of a championship club snapping him up.

 

He's not a risk, persay, but if he wants regular starting football then he might struggle to get it at Championship level. Perhaps why Wyke decided to go to another L1 team. I'd certainly like us to take that "risk on him" but can't see it happening.

 

I think some of our fans are a bit out of touch with Championship football and the fees they pay for strikers and the wages involved.

Some eye watering deals the last few years. Mullin is low risk as a 3rd or 4th choice like you say. Fattening up the options for next to nowt....

 

Reckon he could have a move wrapped up quite soon….. not us though.

when did Parkinson go to Wrexham btw? What an appointment that is for them at that level with their new investors and wads of cash.

 

Week or two back. Imagine 5 years ago id be telling you Parkinson will be a non league manager with Ryan Reynolds as his boss.

Mullin is nothing special, Would prefer a good loan if we only have limited resources

 

Must admit, when he posted a few weeks back that he wouldn't be staying at Cambridge I thought an announcement would be imminent. I'm guessing he has a few offers on the table and is weighing up his options but like you say, I don't expect for a minute that he will rock up at City.

 

Id say firing Cambridge to the league title with 32 goals is pretty special. He obviously has ability and everything clicked for him last season.

To suggest a loan striker over him, taking into account our abysmal loan record with forwards is nothing short of absurd.

 

On account of that I would say Charlton are the favourites but if he can add a few extra grand to his weekly wage in the Championship youd think he goes there. He can always leave if it doesnt work out.

 

Who’s told you championship clubs are after him it seems very unrealistic

Imagine saying no to Mullin (not syaing he wants to come) and instead bringing in a Vuckic, Seedorf, Samuels or Burrell.....
