    Newport, Forrest green, tranmere made the playoffs with 57,59,55 respectively

    Similar numbers to the above (and hopefully a few more) and a decent defence would give us a solid chance of playoffs at least

    I reckon it will only be one more forward - as in actual striker - and then a young loan player. It will be up to Cooke and AN Other to be the sole striker.

    I can see another defensive player coming in.

    I reckon Adams will have us a well organised free kick unit with the hope that a couple of the defenders will get 3 or 4 each.

    I still have a major concern about our reliance on a single striker-cum-target man unless Adams is expecting Eisa to play up front as well. Whilst Cook stays fit and productive, things should be looking good. But if he loses his form or is injured, we'd be looking a little threadbare in the scoring stakes.

    The midfield is also still looking a bit lightweight in my eyes. There's certainly room for a bit more muscle in the centre. The recruitment suggests Adams is building another counter attacking team. In which case he needs a stronger midfield capable of breaking up the opposition's attack to set us up for the counter attack.

    After resolving those two areas, everything else becomes a bonus. Over to you Derek! :)

    I would much rather a manager who can fashion a team that works together as a unit, delivering more than the sum of its parts. We have had the alternative of buying expensive individual players like a kid in a sweet shop who don't work well together. Many examples: Scannell, Doyle etc.

    Casually ignoring the fact Adams took Morecombe up with Mellor and NKP in his backline....oh and Stockton up front who you dont rate???

    A good manager, which Adams clearly is at this level goes a long way. There are no stand outs in this league.

    A big revamp of the midfield so far, which seems to be the priority for Adams. Our strategy seems to be to get the ball out wide and get in as many crosses as possible for Cook to get on the end of.

    We seem to be building a team of hard workers, which fits with the Bradford City ethos, I still think we need a bit more quality in there though. Where is our Nahki Wells? Hell we don't even need a full Nahki, I'd settle for a three quarter Nahki.

    I wouldnt rule it out. We need competition for Cooke at AM and Evans could potentially depart. Looks a little less likely now Gilliead in though...
