    According to my Mackem mate, Celtic appear favourites to land Charlie Boy. Has also held talks with Middlesbrough and Forest

    Completely off topic mods I know. But have to raise it here, my first abroad holiday ( I paid for as an adult) was via teletext - advertised as Bulgaria Golden Sands 2 weeks August - Manchester - £129 pp. Bloody brilliant holiday that. Lovely weather, fantastic beach, free sunbeds and loungers, £5 for a 2 course meal for 2, with a couple of beers, bottle of wine and a packet of 20 fags thrown in.

    I'm not sure. Sometimes good fullbacks can make all the difference in making a team a threat attacking wise.

    I would like a very good centre half but I'm hoping with a decent holding midfielder they should all look better in that position next year and negate the need for one.

    I'm also half hoping Sikora might get a run as he looked very composed against Morcambe and possibly deserves another go.

    Adams seems high on Foulds and Staunton looks a decent footballer but im not sure its at CB.

    I dont think Paudie and Canavan as a pairing are title winning material. Im not convinced Sikora is the answer either. A risk relying on him.

    Thats my reasoning for wanting a CB over a LB. Maybe we get both.

    Just watched the City interview with Adams. States we have 3 more signed which just meed announcing and 4 more he is chasing - after Cook and Eisa so looks like 9 will be the magic number.

    On what grounds? Both were bang average last season. Ive seen cargo ships turn quicker than Canavan.
