You. You try to act all positive but in truth you are scare or teams like Port Vale.

You don’t believe in the club at all but act like you do.

Every game is tough and every team are doing better but you don’t come out and say it but drop your little clue bombs in how you really think. The mask comes off.

I am not “scared “ of Vale at all I just think they will be one of the front runners net season along with City. And I stand by Wilson being a decent player

A lot of those years were spent at United I do stand by it and presumably Port Vale feel the same. Time will tell

 

Goal records over all time can be skewed but not in Wilson’s case. Recent record not good at both Aberdeen and Salford.

 

It doesn't matter who any of us want City to sign, at the end of the day the players we sign will be guys who Derek Adams thinks will get us to League One (to start with). Some of us may not rate some of the signings we make but it's time for us to stop messing about and get promoted. So prepare to be disappointed when you see some of the signings.

 

Port Vale signed Guthrie and paid a fee for him. Thats all you need to know about James Wilson

 

I agree, I'm glad the expectations have been set that we're signing a coherent team and not individuals based on reputation.

That said, I imagine Wilson is the polar opposite of the type of player we're chasing.

Could still do okay for them, injuries pending, but he's of no interest to us.

 

Ronnie Wallwork spent a lot of years at man United as did the guy we had on loan who was the CEOs son. Both were crap.

Previous clubs are no marker of pedigree. James Hanson was at Guiseley, nahki Wells at Eccleshall United.

We will sign who DA wants to sign and those we don't forest mean we have missed out on.

 

Wilson scored 9 goals in 29 appearances for Salford last season which is not bad going, PV will be a good side in League 2 this year, The new manager seems to have turned them round

9 in 29 at L2 level isnt to be sniffed at. Be a decent back up.

 

I should hope they do otherwise they wouldn’t have got him, then again they did take Guthrie although he didn’t last long. As others have said Wilson lives off coming from a prestigious academy, difference is you won’t see Pogba, Rashford and Greenwood down here just Riley and Tom Thorpe. Salford got rid for good reason.

 

I follow a league 2 banter page and Salford fans said Wilson has amazing finishing skills, however he's injured a lot and doesn't run due to being worried he's going to get injured. Added to that they said if you want to see a few great goals then you sometimes can forget the laziness. Sounds like another Rowe to me.
