Indeed so. Let's say, for sake of fantasy and lack of news from VP, that it is Adams, and we do get successive promotions. What's to say that at that point, Adams thinks City's chances of survival in the Championship are minimal and that a club just relegated to League One, let's say L**ds, for sake of fantasy and fun, are looking for a promotion specialist.
If and when this was ever to happen, I'd have many reasons to be annoyed if he left, obviously, however, I wouldn't begrudge him. I'd hope we'd be able to continue to move forward in any case. It's all very well for managers and players to see clubs as stepping stones to greater glory, but clubs use those people in the same way. It's the nature of the business. Despite the fact that in an ideal world loyalty would be valued much more highly than it is, no one should be shamed for their ambition.

Absolute nonsense. Weve spent about 80% of our history in the bottom two divisions. Watford, Southampton, Palace........we are nowhere near their standing.

Ryan has debunked this "not interested" several times. He speaks to Rupp every day he says. Either you've missed it or you're choosing to ignore or not believe him.

 

We will see how many games he visits next season or what investment he puts into improving the club off the pitch & on it.

Dont expect any loyalty from him though, as soon as a big club comes in for him he’ll be outta here.. then again currently we arent much bigger than morecambe, the only thing we have going for us is potential crowds of maybe 10k if we’re lucky and the pandemic ends.. everything else from the training facilities, the pitch and changing tooms is way below average!

 

Don’t worry mate @Botswana Bantam is happy with that. Thinks our owner has backed us and is interested in the club because he makes a few calls.
