I see the Peterborough owner is saying we should sign Evans up if he is available

 

I would like to listen to what he said. But if he had come out and said it’s happening the whole focus would shift from Tranmere to the manager and he wouldn’t want that.
We wanted him in November but he wanted to stay loyal till the end of the season. So probably a week or two before the end of the season they came to an agreement where nothing was said until Morecambe season is over

 

I think he said that straight after T & S were removed from their posts. Parker appears to have nothing to fill up his column inches today so has decided to drag it up.

If we were given permission to talk to him in January, we'll have had permission now too - as long as we don't upset their promotion chase.
