As, I say @wetherbywhaler has never been clear on why it would take 5 years. He said this comment in year 1.

On the pitch no excuses why we haven't been promoted. What excuses do you have? As I say Bolton seems to have done it one season.

 

Automatic promotion and yes they will be coming up pressure to deliver hence why T & S have to be questioned if they can take us up.

Only 1 in 5 voters think they should be left in charge next season. I voted don't know because i don't think the players brought in during the January transfer window were good enough to give any manager a chance of success. The mess left by Rupp and Rhodes is far too big to just change over night. That said i think we need a strong manager with character to change this around and i don't like this joint manager approach.

 

What about the two brothers at Lincoln and didn’t Hurst partner up earlier in his career

 

It's not rocket science what wetherbywhaler posted, Rahic went according to the BBC on 4th December 2018, we are now into May 2021 and wont be getting promoted this season so at best it will be May 2022 before that could happen.
We then we need to build a team that can be in contention for a league one play off place, that won't happen the season after were promoted, so 5 years seems to be a fair assumption of the time span it could take before were anywhere near where we were before these two took over.
Then again the way we've performed since they took over it could take many more years to achieve the position of the status quo when they purchased our club ?.

Why not go completely mad and try to tempt Jose to VP, or get Fergie out of retirement? Wilder was on more at Blades than the whole City wage bill.
