I’ll counter that by saying the Ricoh Arena is in a shocking location. The future has to be walking, cycling and public transport as much as possible.

A lot of very good comments on here about going forward, from snippets I hear I am expecting the 'vision' is going to start becoming clearer in the week ahead - hang in there City fans because its going to be a very busy summer! ;)

I know the club have said nothing will be decided until the season is over but I understand that is only when it will be made public - a LOT is going on behind the scenes. Whether this also involves the Coaching duo I think we know more by mid week.

Ryan wants to give this a real shot and knows if they bodge next season his own position with City will become untenable, but he is ambitious so it might equally be a case of us not meeting his own visions - I just hope the club are brave and do what gives us the best chance of success and not what might keep up our homely image (ex players in key positions withing the club, ex players becoming new players again etc)

Yes he would. It won’t happen as this club wants weak managers. Managers that won’t tell the owner what for.

Sparks might be different. He might be able to handle the truth but Rhodes couldn’t.

Yes Ken Morrison did he was seen many times over the years talking to staff and customers, I think @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler could confirm that.

I didnt say owners need to talk to the fans, I said they didn't give a f**k, especially as long as the Sky money was coming in.
Not sure your ESL comment won't have repercussions for the clubs who pulled out Florentino Pérez the first Chairman of the Super League said: these clubs have signed contracts cant just walk away, if could get very shitty.

Beat me to it @Mike Hunt@Mike Hunt as you say Ken was seen many times over the years making visits to his stores and helping out on the check outs talking to customers.

Easy kop out by Morrison’s that. What do they do to promote the city? NOTHING

Once again Bradford people get fooled. When we talk about Morrison go to a Morrison’s in Leeds or Huddersfield and they are like a Waitrose’s. Go to a Morrison’s in Bradford and they are like a flee market with things all over!!

@wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler will know better but Morrison’s is a disgrace! Seriously the people of Bradford. Wake up! Demand better! Companies including Bradford City are taking the Pee out of you!

You're one worrying individual mate, you don't have a good word for anyone/anything I realise most is wumming but to say Morrisons have done
nothing for the City is a ridiculous comment, for a start Morrisons has brought jobs to many thousands in Bradford and around the country, you probably weren't around when Ken and Stafford helped save the club from being wound up with the help of fans making donations, yes he could have possibly
done more with his brass with regards Bradford City but it's an easy option to critise how people should spend their money because they have an interest in the club.
Just out of interest you tell us you're a successful business man, so which are your advertising boards at Valley Parade or can you tell us about your sponsorship with regards our club ?.

Thats the crux of leadership. You have to back your judgement and consider the bigger picture. You also have to recognise mistakes and address change where its needed.

Re T&S, he really only needs to consider one question. Is he confident in their ability to deliver a top 3 finish next season. If so, he should back them. If not, he has to make a change.

Rahic was a disaster for us. It's fairly well documented that Parkinson left because he couldn't get on with him, and he was far from the only person to have issues with him. Rahic pretty much single handedly destroyed the progress that had been made under Parkinson. At least Rupp eventually listened to the fans and moved him on.

I don't like knocking Rhodes, because he is the most committed City fan you could ever find. I very much doubt that anybody on here would back the club to the same extent that he and his family have, both in time and money. We owe them our gratitude, because there very possibly wouldn't still be a club without them.

That said, Julian Rhodes is not the man you want in charge of a football club. He doesn't have the ability to drive the club forward. The only time that City moved forwards with Julian involved was with Richmond, and later Lawn, at the helm. Rupp putting Julian back in charge was about steadying the ship with a readily available alternative, but it was never going to bring us success.

I can well believe that the combination of Rahic and Rhodes having spells as Chairman knocked us back 5 years.

Whether Ryan Sparks is the man to move us forwards again remains to be seen, and to be frank it isn't going to be massively down to him anyway. If Rupp is not prepared to put more than maintenance financing in - and he has no obligation to do so - then making progress in the medium to long term is going to be difficult for anyone in charge.

As a businessman I see Bradford letting the stores in Bradford get run down because the people of Bradford are getting bashed that they are worthless and it’s not true. So for an organisation to be proud of the city the at least make the stores like Leeds and Huddersfield.

You live in the past mate. What does Morrison’s do now for for city and yes I know they employ people. I am talking outside of that. Please tell me.

It really is as easy as that, you believe in your original appointment and back them to deliver a promotion next season, or you don't, and if he doesn't he must change it at the end of this season. Giving them a transfer window then sacking them mid-season is no good to anyone certainly not to the new man who takes over, let's have a statement of intent Ryan, T & S were appointed to get us safe and then to take us forward next season with promotion being their goal, and I personally back them to deliver.

See think it’s more powerful for Sparks and the club to sack them at the end of end stating the message of intent about wanting go up.

Massive risk going into a season with a novice team. They will be sacked mid season. Wasting our time.

Morrissons has no obligation to do any for this Bradford City. And there is nothing wrong with their stores.

I've told you above which you dont seem to be able to comprehend.
Once again you don't reply to any of my comments just your usual bs, I'll repeat he has created employment for 1000s over the years with the expansion of Morrisons both in Bradtord and elsewhere over the UK, he helped save the club going under, have a read up on our clubs history, he has put plenty of sponsorship money into the club over many years.
I see you failed to answer my question with regards your sponsorship at the club, you as usual have plenty to say but little action.

    They are a dump!

No, they don’t have to do anything for Bradford City and haven’t for ages.

Good points but I disagree a bit on the last one - Ryan WILL be the one to move us forward IF he has the backing of Rupp, if not as some others have said, he is ambitious and probably wont hang around longer than next season. Rupp isnt going to become more involved, it will all be via Sparks
