    Christ, nobody is chasing them or going to appoint them based on 11 games. Sheer lunacy.

    We can. Because the glove fits and it works but no way is another team coming in for them at the moment. Ludicrous suggestion.

    Can you imagine the meltdown if we give them a 2 year deal and we lose the next 3 and fall down the table?

    They are going anywhere and even with a contract they could. IF there was interest then the club would move to secure...

    Alternatively, people could just stop speculating and trust that the announcement will be made when everyone involved is good and ready.

    Fine. I doubt T&S or Sparks will lose any sleep over it. I'm sure they all know what's going on and are totally comfortable with the situation.

    I suspect the reason why we are hesitant is coming from the very top Mr Rupp. Who in his time has been through more managers that he has had hot dinners

    Great point. Fans always seem to think that managers are stupid enough not to know a good thing when they see it, i.e. taking a club with our potential forward

    I'm sure discussions have taken place behind the scenes. Don't see why we need to introduce an unnecessary distraction, at this stage

    I guarantee that the only people who are worrying about contracts and decisions are on Bantam Talk. Sparks will be having an ongoing daily dialogue with T&S. They'll already have talked at length about the future. It would be nice to get a public announcement, but I would guess when they're ready and the timing is right, they'll let us all know.

    Apples and Oranges. Goal scoring strikers are rarer than hens teeth, where as there are a decent number of up and coming managers plus the experienced ones. DMac named a number in his podcast last week, our pair didn’t make his list but plenty who clubs would look at over our pair did.

    I’m certain they won’t be poached and will be here next season.

    There are fans on here who were desperate for us to sign Paul Hurst. Experienced doesn't always mean best. We've been there SO many times before. New ideas, new thinking. That's what we need - and right now, that's what we're getting. Halle-bloody-lujah.

    It wouldn’t cost Barrow hardly anything in compensation, they are not under a contract apart from as youth coaches, it will be month to month as interim manager. With their record at City I think Barrow would jump at the chance. However if they did make an approach I would expect Ryan Sparks to sort out the contracts with them to stay here.

    Don’t be so certain Pinto, they will be getting noticed. 11 games is almost half a lifetime in the lifespan of the modern manager.

    If Barrow made an approach, there is no way that Sparks would let T&S go. Definite.
