Very good point about the goals we have scored but we are creating a reasonable number of chances, certainly compared with what we were creating before Stuart's exit. Like you say we are harder to beat now which is a relief. I think if we can keep Clarke and Evans fit plus have a few additions in January we should be okay for creating chances.
Not just the points we are picking up but the way we are looking more solid is very pleasing. Having said that it just shows how bad things have been. Looking solid should be the norm or a given.

 

Let's just get on with it. The two caretakers have been good, but we can't piss them around by saying you have three more matches then perhaps. Bite the bullet and appoint a permanent manager now so we can start the rebuild process straight after we batter tranmere on boxing day.

Boris Johnson is not a liar, he just forgets what he has said.

 

It's more likely there's a list of targets (that the previous manager will have had input into) that will be discussed with any incoming manager before making an approach.

I'm almost certain the new manager will have his own ideas to throw into the mix too which is why it's vital they get the appointment done and have the discussions ASAP.

the two managers who have got us to our highest position ever was Paul Jewell and Terry Dolan. Both with no management experience. I am not saying we shouldn’t appoint experience but only after “due diligence “ and to be convinced.if they have doubts let’s these lads carry on until they find the right person or the duo bring us a bit of success

 

Perspective is needed. T&S have just organised the lads and given them all specific jobs to do. Most on this forum could have done the same and had frequently pointed out the areas of concern as well.
