I'm pretty sure the way manager compensation works is they get paid as contracted until the contract ends rather than a lump sum, but there is a standard clause that ceases payment if they get a better paid job or adjusts it if they heg a lesser paid one.

If thats right, parky coming here would mean he is effectively working for nothing. Its not going to happen.

 

Stuart will always remain one of the best ever at City. As a player and as a person. Sadly, it hasn’t worked for him as manager but I don’t think that’s enough to celebrate anything or for some of the, fairly, personal comments. He has given a lot to our club and its supporters on and off the field and nobody on the outside really knows what has been going on over the past year or so. Don’t get me wrong, I think it is the right decision. Something had to give.

Also massive difference being a football manager than being a CEO of a business. Can't you understand that. Who is the fool now?

 

I hope that with the dire position we are in, it won't be a question of money, but more about getting the best we can for the job . This Club need the right fix and Rupp needs to splash the dosh to protect his investment and the Club's immediate future.

Sad to se it unravel for Stuart in the way it has, but his passion became higher in profile than his attributes as a manager.Wish him and Kenny all the best for the future.

 

Some of this team need shipping out as soon as possible, they have hidden behind every excuse going and that will not be quite as easy when fans are back in the ground and, hopefully, a new manager giving them some 'home truths'

I heard on the ELF show once discussing football and one of them said as soon as you put money before football then you are in trouble. To make it clear so you understand that doesn't mean you have to start spending a load of money. It's about having a footballing plan! An identity!

So use your brain and understand the game.
