    So what now. Back to square one. If we ever even left square one in the first place. I've no faith in this squad turning it round no matter who is in charge.

    It’s the correct decision and I hope that we carry out a full recruitment process to find the right man.

    It does show though how crazy it has been to extend their contracts, hold this recruitment meeting (unless this is always going to be above the manager).

    Well done Mr Sparks though for being willing to admit his mistake.

    Thank goodness for that I was starting to fear for his health
    Good luck Stuart hopefully you will be able to hang on to your legend (as a player) tag
    You will make someone a good coach but not a manager when you sort yourself out
    On to a new chapter at VP anyone any idea (not speculation) who the next incumbent will be
    Obviously our players budget will be slashed having to pay 2 lots of compensation or Ami rolling out the excuses too soon of a poor January transfer window

    Although it was a contract extension it didn't cost the club anything.

    They extended the contract by a year but kept the money the same just over a longer period of time. Essentially, McCall took a pay cut in order to free up a small amount of money for January.

    Sad it's ended this way again for McCall, but he just hasn't got what it takes to be a manager unfortunately.

    To create a sense of stability for January planning. To try and refocus the players and create a sense of belief in the future. Hasn't worked, clearly - but I doubt it'll have cost us much, if anything.
