If he thinks we don't really need much then we might as well stick a fork in ourselves because we are done. Down. Finished.

And with that hes lost any support I had left for him to stay. We are well and truly fecked and I have no idea what the solution even is anymore

Now here is the real concern. Where do any of you seeing us get our next single point, from let alone our next win? I'm really scratching my head. As Frasier used to say...'we're doomed. Doomed!'

Hopefully I'm not just clutching at straws but surely... surely those comments about the January window is just a method of trying to get something out of the players already here during December. If there's talk with 8 or so games until the window opens of bringing in replacements then with this wet set of players he thinks they'll crumble even more. Leaving us in dire trouble come january. I'm fully expecting a big change in personel come January

Trouble is we can only spend up to the salary cap and that money was available in the summer but Stu chose not to spend it. Almost certainly because he would have no clue who to bring in. He desperately needs a director of football to deal with transfers. I desperately need to see him sacked but after last weeks crazy decision that’s not going to happen so bringing in a DOF is the next best thing.

In fairness that guy was about 80 years old. At that age, you tend to look on the bright side of life :) (and take a lot of pills).

He said it was originally on a temporary basis, then when he saw the books he stayed and sorted it out, I don't see a problem he's done what he said he would do and left.

That was what I said at the time. We were equal at half time. Chill your beans.

Let’s face it guys and Girls - Mcall will take us down - the Man hasn’t got a clue about decent footballers, anyone who gives DMH a contract and is relying on Guthrie to turn our goal scoring fortunes around wants taking away in a straight Jacket.

The man is a total fraud of a manager and hopefully he will do the decent thing and walk after Saturday when we are beaten by Carlisle.

Stuart I hope you are reading this - please do the decent thing, and walk away for the sake of our club. You are killing us with your poor management style and skills.

Can't believe what I'm reading with Stuart's comments.

Novak coming back gives us a boost, but this midfield is much too young - the defence is poor, and there hasn't been a successful formation all season long which shows were not properly sticked with wingers or ring backs.

McCall certainly doesn't do himself any favours.
His ludicrous comments and belief in players returning from injury are absolutely delusional.
Happy with squad numbers padded out with young unseasonable player's with no experience of pitting their wits against experienced professionals in a survival environment, is in my opinion a damming suicidal approach which will inevitably play a major part in the final outcome to an already horrendous season.

good post imho - would go along with all of that, except maybe Hosannah better than 6. Cooke's chipped cross for the goal was outstanding

We’re now sat 21st. No games in hand against the other relegation contenders below us, we do have a game in hand against Barrow, but to be honest that makes no difference, we’re screwed until McCall does the right thing and resigns.

    McCall Out!

You can see a pack of five or six soon getting left behind now can’t you. Grimsby took a real thumping tonight, Scunny are awful, stevenage, Mansfield and us also in the thick of it. Maybe even Harrogate might get sucked back into it as injuries and a busy schedule takes its toll.

A long slog until the end of the season beckons, to see who follows Southend through the trapdoor.
