Now I know someone on here was always saying how the Bundesliga had dealt with the situation and was letting fans back to games. For the life of me I cannot remember the poster!

Well here is an update, ‘The German Bundesliga will go back behind closed doors from Nov. 2 for the rest of the month as the country's government combats the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic with several restrictions to public life’. https://www.espn.co.uk/football/german-bundesliga/story/4219925/coronavirus-bundesliga-to-go-back-behind-closed-doors-as-germany-enters-new-lockdown

    So much for the progress.

Madness for anyone to think about attending games at this time. It's not what goes on inside the ground why the ban is on. It's the mingling outside, in bars and cafe's etc

Though I would say that based on current performances there will be now way the attendance limit will be troubled.

It's not madness at all. Other countries still have crowds at sporting events on. You clearly haven't been to a gym recently. What shall we close the airports and stop planes flying?

We're not in a national lockdown and lets be honest tier lockdowns are a joke.

The issue is we have to learn to live with this virus and people just be making their own mind up about things now but more importantly the government don't have an exit plan for these tiers plus testing is a shambles.

    Learn to think of solutions!

France going into national lockdown. German Bundesliga behind closed doors again. You are an utter fool for comparing a gym to a football stadium. Incomparable.

Living with the virus needs all of us to try to stop its spread not the bleeding opposite. Herd immunity is unproven as antibodies decrease rapidly after infection. It's people like you that are spreading this with your head in the sand attitude.

France and German a NATIONAL Lockdown Boris is doing this Tier system with his point of why should people in say Kent have to suffer more than those places with higher infection rates? So with that in mind why can't say Norwich have fans?

It's not about ALL in a tier is it? and we are not going to stop the spread with supermarkets, pubs, restaurants etc open.

Oh and whats the answer when your kids are on the dole and they can't get a job?Kids will be paying for this. It's getting to a point of something has to give now.

Tell you what 4m plus unemployed and counting, domestic violence increased, suicides up, businesses going to the wall and we still near enough in the same situation as it started in March for us.

    Think mate!

Yes, I fully believe that football grounds fine. We did the pilot and nothing bad from it. Other countries have allowed fans and nothing.

What you want 10m unemployment before you think enough is enough? What's it going to take for you?

Tennis in Austria, football in parts of America, Football in Germany, Tennis in France, Rugby in New Zealand, Rugby in Australia, football in Russia. Darts in Austria.

All these have had crowds. Plenty more..We haven't even tried on a level!

Point being when is it going for you to wake up. Lose your business? lose your home? Vaccine? - might not be one and if one is developed then looking at 6-12 months for mass roll out.

    Wake up mate..

Point the UK government were joking about getting fans back..It was never on the cards by the government but it needs to be now.

If fact my point with all this is we need an exit plan.

If we are going by Tiers then why can't Norwich have fans back for example. You never answered the question?

I agree people need to take more responsibility for helping to stop the spread of the virus but you do realise that sitting outside in a socially distanced football stadium would be MUCH safer than being inside a gym though right?

Calling out that particular point in Fordys post just seems very strange indeed.

Its not about being inside the stadium but all the travelling and mingling in cafes and fast food places or pubs before and after the game.
You would have 3000 people congregating into the manningham area. Just doesnt seem the right thing to do in the current climate.

I don't think you know what you are talking.

So in America with the president campaigns and all the people gathering. The anti lockdown protests in London ever week that happen. We have had the BLM protests all of these had more than 3k people. It's outside..OUTSIDE.

You do understand that some Non League teams are allowed fans in?

I honestly don't think you know what you are talking about. Bradford City could operate staggered times to enter the ground and I sure if Bradford City or any club said to their fans that we need to do x why and z to get back in then we will.

If we are operating a tier system why isn't it right? What's not right is football clubs going under..that's not right!

The government was told by Sage to do a national lockdown in mid September and didn't so don't give me we follow the science rubbish anyway because we don't now.
