But at what point do supporters stop sitting on the fence ?
And at what point will the fans truly turn on our 'management' next year ?

I'm asking questions NOW because it matters NOW ........ January may be too late !

We will never agree on this one mate, once Phil sat down and Edin explained the way he wanted to take the club, Phil Parkinson was never going work under those conditions that Stuart did.

 

You may be right but I've already put an alternative theory.

They interviewed some people, would have made a decision then other managers have become available and they felt they should talk to them causing a delay in the decision making.

Also very plausible imo.

 

They have taken the same time as us so far

I do believe something like that could have been put to Stuart and as you say Stuart went along with it because of the club.
Where I do disagree is your comnent about taking our time and getting the right man, because that suggests as I posted previously Edin wants a puppet so he can implement his vision.
No profesional manager or coach worth his salt would allow the above, but no I don't disbelieve you, nor does it suprise me.

 

Meanwhile Abbo is pursuing his agreed targets so we are told and life goes on, independent of a Coach. I think we only need to worry if the main signings fall short of expectations and that is the great unknown yet.

 

I believe they have been searching for a new manager about 2 days longer than us actually

 

But the buck won't stop with Edin, that's what the coach is for!

 

Lets face it we should have been looking since McCall was sacked as it was obvious from the off that Grayson was not going to be here past the end of the season. If our owners thought otherwise then they are more naive than i actually thought.

 

Re read your post mate, you said if edin hadn’t broken his promise not to change things then Parkinson may have stayed. I simply pointed out that Parkinson didn’t stay long enough for edin to break any promises which he didn’t. Parkinson was off after one meeting. That’s his prerogative and frankly with hindsight I don’t blame him.

Edin May well, nay almost certainly did, break promises and has changed things (for the worse) but only after Parkinson hoofed it to Bolton

 

I hope you're right with your theory BB. An alternative theory is that they have been turned down by those they have identified as being suitable to be our possible coach.
I prefer your theory but I do fear that the other one is nearer the truth.

 

It’s looking more and more that way for sure. In which case it won’t be Ferguson or heckinbottom as neither are puppets.

This is what increasingly makes me think that it could be Abbott despite him previously saying he won’t return to coaching.

Someone else said a head coach comes with a dof. God help us (actually god help edin and his family from the abuse he’ll get) if edin thinks he can be dof
