    Say vaughan was on 3k p/w, he only counted to the cap at the divisional average which I think was about 1.3k. Now if we sign a player above that average, their full wage will count towards the cap and not the average.

    Bye bye Vaughan, let's see how long you stay at your next club. He's had more clubs than a Ryder cup team ,bad attitude and Ill disciplined the clubs better off without him.

    I'm not sure to be honest. It's a divisional average though, not an average per club.

    Any player now signed will count in full towards the cap. Unless under 21. Vaughan was only counting as the average as his contract was signed before it came into place.
    The budget is there as a total. We can use it anyway we like

    if any money has been paid to this pretender i dont know if city will see any more of my money in the future. i certainly dont want my hard earned pension being wasted in this way. what a bloody shambles.

    It has nothing to do with the club not being able to afford him. Its been clear for a long while that he didn't want to be here. He basically says that in his interview. He has been trying to force a move since March.

    Plus the contract was terminated two years early! We've saved a packet!

    Plus he was a bad egg etc etc

    Plus it gives us time to bring in the right person but if we choose not to we have the top goalscorer from another club last season (Guthrie) plus the Grimsby times player of the season last season (Clarke) plus the man who singlehandedly carried our strike force last season until he got injured (Donaldson)

    Nothing to worry about at all! :joy::joy:
