    No. Indoors those and it’s different from what we read in terms of the spread. All stadiums are open air?

    One of the experts on the spread of viruses (Prof David King maybe?) was saying earlier that somebody infected with a virus can spread the aerosol droplets up to 4metres when shouting. I guess that equally applies to chanting.

    No, there were no masks involved. And I'm sure that when wearing masks the effect wouldn't be as great.

    And that would become the clubs' issue. Which do you think the clubs would rather police? Several thousand fans chanting without masks or the obligatory wearing of masks in the stadium? I suspect neither.

    The last time I went to VP, it ceratinly wasn't open air. The communal areas - foyers, staircases, toilets, access tunnels to the stands are all fully enclosed and the stands themselves are all covered rather than open air. I doubt it's as simple as saying they are all open air and that the physics associated with spreading the aerosol containing the virus don't therefore apply.

    Only 19 new cases in Yorkshire hospitals on Tuesday so it's still falling away, despite street drinking parties and customised car meets in cities, and gangs of young adults snogging, having picnics and playing team games on beaches. If we can do these and things still improve, I don't see why we can't watch football in every other seat. (What happened to police, btw? I used to see them enforcing lockdown rules but I've not seen that for maybe 3 weeks.)

    Thanks. So it's just PL clubs particularly those with newer stadiums who are considering this? I can understand that. You'd think from Fordy's post that all clubs were considering it! It certainly wouldn't make sense for the likes of us.


    ps I assume where the 'Ammers play is considered a newer stadium? ;)

    I wouldn't sit on a crowded beach like that even if there hadn't been a pandemic

    My idea of hell, would rather sit in the comfort of my back garden with a cool beer straight from fridge

    The PL will take the lead with fans back into to stadiums.

    League 2 finished about a month ago and it still hasn't got a start date. If you are waiting on the EFL to do something then we will be waiting forever.

    The PL will drive the government to get fans back and if it starts at corporate level first then that will apply to all other clubs in the leagues.

    League 2 clubs showed their behinds when ending the season. Also reported is Championship clubs are mirroring PL clubs...
    PL 1 and PL 2 is ever closer I think.

    Actually very few boxes as such under current configuration.
    Most hospitality is based round specific seats and shared lounges.
