My friend asks how much have you got?

 

The figure being touted here is upward of £10m but IMO that is a ridiculous figure, we don't own our stadium, we don't have a training ground of our own but again IMO the one we share is good enough for what we need, they are the same training facilities as they were in the Premier day, so basically we have our FL registration and very few assets on the pitch which we could get any sort of decent transfer fee for.

 

The question wasn’t what do you think it is worth but what figure would it cost. For the cost value doesn’t come into it just what the current owner wants

 

In today economic climate you'd be mad to pay £7 million for league 2 club with no tangible assets. We don't even have any players who could bring in decent money, Rupp hung around long enough to get the McBurnie money.

 

You may be mad, but if the owner wants a certain figure and you want to buy it then you either pay or don’t buy.

 

Oh yeah i get that bit, everything has its price, the Germans were stupid enough to buy us in the first place so there are always gullible fools willing to part with their money. Just more chance of finding Lord Lucan riding Sheargar.

 

You are correct it's what the present owner would like for our club, or more what a potential buyer would pay for a league two club who have great support because they sell cheap season tickets, both figures have been banned about and I believe they are both over inflated be it £7 or £10 million.
We were all taken in when the present owner his con man side kick bought the club, I'm not sure at the moment I'd be quick to get new owners, normally after what we have been through these last few years I'd be delighted to get new owner but in the present climate maybe Rupp isn't a bad owner.

 

We have an owner who has effectively been duped into buying the club by his one time crooked 'partner'. Would guess he would sell if he got most of his investment back, how much that is remains to be seen. Unsubstantiated whispers have Rupp at valuing the club at around £10 million apparently, its worth less than half that to any fool whos willing to part with their money. We have no assets bar the players and they ain't worth jack shit.

 

Despite the rhetoric I think if Rupp was made a sensible offer he would take it especially as things are at the moment

When was the last time you real criticised Rhodes? It was like Mason before him then Lawn. The people you meet you seem to get attached too and then can't say a bad word about them. None of them are bad people but be honest with yourself and see things for how it really is. What sort of deal did Rhodes get with the Germans

 

Not sure but I honestly believe he sold it to them with the best interest at heart that they would improve Bradford City and take us forward.

Well one down and we're now a div 2 club. Don't see how anyone and I mean anyone can be impressed by Rupp at this moment or Rhodes.

However, next season is key. A real test.

 

Looking at the new board make up there only seems to be three named people and then some groups. Didn’t there used to be more people including some ‘independent’ fans?
