Nearly all the prisoners at Parnall Correctional Facility near Jackson have tested positive for antibodies for the coronavirus, suggesting that they had COVID-19 in the past.

As of May 22, 92 percent of prisoners tested at Parnall were positive for antibodies, according to Chris Gautz, spokesman for the Michigan Department of Corrections. The department offered antibody blood tests to all prisoners at Parnall about two weeks ago. Of 1,248 people tested, Gautz said 1,148 were positive.

It’s a fact until Christmas we were in a play off position. And even when the season effectively finished we were in the top few home records.The season is like no other in history with this virus and it will be good to see the back of it.

As for the virus, yes it's bad but in football terms it's only bad because our season was an utter failure.

 

Just listened to a WHO official who said like the Spanish flue the virus will return with a worsts strain in October. Awful thought.

Why do people keep quoting Spanish Flu when that was the exception to the rule that viruses evolve to weaker strains since the stronger mutations make their host bedridden while weaker mutations are spreading immunity far and wide outside homes by not confining their host to bed?( It might be noted that some say it was not that Spanish Flu mutated worse but that the very high aspirin doses given to treat the pain made the pneumonia worse until they stopped doing so. See below.) There have been a few as yet unconvincing claims the SARS-CoV-2 virus is actually weakening. Here's the latest I've seen.

I wouldn't listen to a word they say. It was only last week that the WHO stated a second peak was more and more unlikely.

The next will be in a couple of weeks
The government will not be able to enforce any kind of lockdown

'New cases' is no longer a credible measure, more a measure of the effectiveness of data collecting, deaths are what matter now. On that basis the virus is now reaping it's evil in the Americas primarily, with the numbers continuing to fall in every major European nation, where the virus is exhausting itself.

There will be problems when the flu season hits and the virus isn't totally wiped out, but nothing like what we've seen in the first peak.

It certainly won't be the third peak. That's alarmism.

When does L2 season actually finish?. Is it now or after the play offs?, I think the latter.
In that case picture this. EFL take another points deduction from Macc who go bust (liquidation) and exit the League. EFL then recast all points from clubs matches with Macc. I don't think it affects us but curiously if we hadn't got the late equaliser at their place and actually lost 1-0 we might have finished 6th on GD and others would be in different order.
Try doing that one instead of a jig saw puzzle today.

 

My bank of computers are telling me League two is a utter mess. So no Macc been charged which could mean a few things. 1) they go down instead of Stevenage or 2) the charge comes at a point in which no team is relegated because Macc will certainly challenge any points deduction.

We've Championship clubs moaning about the start date of the Championship so that could start later than the 20th.

The FA are still not said what's going on with the non league and if play offs are taking place.

League 2 requested to finish weeks ago and I am still struggling to see what that has achieve! Clubs can't sell any season tickets, get any sponsorship because none of them know what's happening. Unless this situation is sorted out soon then come July you will start hearing about league 2 clubs in massive trouble.

League 2 should've finished the season or requested too because now they haven't got a club how the testing will be paid, how TV rights will work. League 2 will get left behind.
