Stress is massively harmful to the immune system. He wont have had the luxury of being able to properly rest up for the last week. Hopefully he gets a chance to focus on his recovery

 

I reckon that's right, Boris is a workaholic, just that they say that 8 out of 10 of those on a ventilator don't make it.....

 

You'd think he was at deaths door the way some were prattling on. There's been hundreds if not thousands in ICU wards the last few weeks.

 

Understand he is or has been a heavy smoker which won’t help his chances. Hope he pulls through

 

It depends if he is in invasive ventilation if he is the odds are not great but if it’s non invasive he will have a much better chance of a full recovery

Stress is a hidden killer mate. People don't realise how harmful being stressed is.

 

He's strong is old Boris, doesn't help with all the stress coming from being the head of state at an unprecedented time. Something know it alls should take into account when taking cheapshots from the sidelines.

 

Hope we all pull through. Looking forward to a day at Valley Parade when City run out and we have a minutes applause for all the NHS workers. Can't wait for that kick off.

Best wishes to him, they don’t put you in ICU without serious reason especially with beds so important at the moment. Near 5 and a half thousand have died in hospitals so far from just over 17,000 admitted and many more likely to keep dying. Whichever way you look at it them odds aren’t good at all.

 

It really is 50/50 right now for Boris.

Hope he pulls though. Feel for his family right now but he can beat this thing.

 

Got to feel for Carrie right now. The last thing she needs, as she herself recovers from symptoms, is the added stress of Boris being in intensive care. Hope she and the baby are okay

 

Support for Boris going through the roof. Only a few hours ago most hated him.

 

Wonder what those who said he was just being taken out of the firing line, or wished him dead are thinking now.

 

People like that are either brain dead or just very nasty individuals and probably couldnt care less

 

True but I bet there are a fair few quickly deleting tweets as we speak.

 

Probably the same as they did before. To be fair after what Thatcher did to the miners and the working class a lot were jubilous when she died.
