Agree with the above. There are some despicable people about. I seen one guy wishing death on Boris Johnson and his profile picture was a pic which said “I love the NHS”. I’m sure the irony was lost on him, virtue signaling *@?$.

 

And my post above highlights why.

Is it any wonder people treat them like pantomime characters the way they behave in the House of Commons? Booing, hissing, jeering is very common practice in there. See the recent clips republished of them cheering when they managed to keep the nurses salary down or reduced the benefits to the vulnerable people they are so keen to protect now.

The tabloid media exists for us, because of us. We lap it up. We love it. It's like slowing down to look at a car crash or watching 2 tramps fight. We love it. They provide it.

Everyone makes mistakes that's true but the politicians have the power to do great good for us all but they don't. They look after themselves, their mates and people who's ancestors killed our ancestors in the past to claim titles. There is a war chest full of money. They spend it on wars.

Finally, I hope Boris a speedy recovery despite the fact that I despise him greatly. A racist, misogynistic, deceitful, devious, brash, sly bully. Makes you proud to be British.

When Covid19 first made the news most just seemed to get on with their lives exactly as they normally would. Understandable. As the seriousness of the situation has become clearer and the government have introduced more stringent measures to help combat the crisis most appear to be doing the right thing by staying at home, avoiding unnecessary travel etc etc.

 

Of course I dont know where that picture was taken but seeing some of the gatherings, mainly down South I think it could quite easily have been taken resently.
I have only been out to exercise around the block and haven't seen above 3 people together but I cant for the life in me understand why people would want to jump in a car and go to a beauty or the coast, just stay at home.

 

Sadly true, even about the tabloids, though I can honestly say I don't read them save for random searches about subjects like football or whatever.

Does seem by watching the conduct of MPs that they want the pantomime reactions, as you suggest, but even so it's strange people not being able to draw a line at people living and dying.

Then again there are those nutters who have a go at actors because their characters are baddies.
