Setting off early today to lovely Bradford for the start of another era in the life of BCFC. Despite my slight scepticism I really hope this time Stuart smashes it starting today. Enjoy the game.

 

You could very well be right but if that does happen, I feel confident we won't capitulate like we did last week and will keep going right to the end to try and get something from the game. His last first two games in charge resulted in draws both times - could be a similar outcome today.

 

time to concentrate on the football - 3 points is a must!

 

There are no guarantees in football. So saying we must win is irrelevant.. it is what it is... enjoy the game and atmosphere and hopefully we come away with 3 points.

Some matches are must wins but this isn't it's more about getting the crowd pulling together, getting the atmosphere going, playing more attacking, creating more chances, seeing the smiles of fans faces because they believe in the club again.

Hopefully, we do come out with the win because a lot of the top 7 have some really tough games today.

I actually looked into flights, such is my desire to feel the atmosphere today! Sadly, nothing viable. Would love to start lunchtime in the Corn Dolly for a few pre match ales, before getting that buzz heading to the ground. Stuart has got a lot of pressure on him to get the team winning again, but one thing that can’t be faulted is the excitement he’s generated about his return. Can’t remember the last time I was looking forward to a match as much. Kids have been instructed that the TV is mine from 4pm onwards, and the Mrs has been given a free pass to go out to dinner with her friends

Here’s hoping that come full time, all the hype has been justified!
