Will be very interesting if we have a new manager in place, what sort of team he's going to be picked. Who was out of favour, and who was GB's love child? Especially with these three new lads now being available.

If it is Drury, doesn't really matter who he picks. The sight of him strutting up and down the touchline in his oversized Wenger coat, is enough to make anyone give up the will to live, let alone win a football game.

 

Drury picking the team? Bloody hell. We'd be better off picking it by popular vote on here.

Wrong. The whole issue of the midfield has been playing Cooke at DM. He's an attack minded midfielder. He looked his best when in the oppositions final 3rd when he first joined. He's wasted deep and tackling isn't his game. Granted we don't have a tackler at the minute which needs to be rectified but going by old McCall teams it shouldn't matter as you don't need to tackle if you have possession of the ball 70% of the time. We shouldn't need any DM if we take the game to an opponent. We needed one if Bowyer stayed but I don't think it's as much as an issue now if the centre midfield are allowed to express themselves.

 

Would expect this will be a big crowd, with Grimsby having less than 200 of their 2700 allocation left it is probably on course to beat the highest crowd of the season which was just under 15,200 against Mansfield or at least get very close to it.
