Vaughan and Doyle gone

I know I can hardly believe this rumour. It is like we have become a non league club overnight. Have you seen him? He looks like brickie rather than a footballer. I keep thinking this can’t be true, but then what club in their right mind would let go two of the best strikers in the league

 

Let’s see what happens this week before we all get carried away with all this anger. Doyle hasn’t been with us for the first half of the season and we did ok up to new year. I think Vaughan is replaceable but of course if we just bring in a couple of mediocre replacements then we can slag off the club.

 

Vaughan and Doyle are proven scorers at this level.

The best we can do is bring in some different proven scorers.

What difference will that make?

Have you ever known a situation more absurd at any club than this? Ousting the two best forwards in League Two, which they are, regardless of their performances for us?

 

Seen nothing from either to suggest that'll happen, right now I'd expect little interest heading their way. Those 2 and others need to realise that this might be the biggest club that they will ever play for, and start producing on the pitch rather than on Twitter, before the season & their careers go belly up.

 

Guess we are not going for pace then?

 

Literally the complete opposite of what we should be doing. Unreal.

 

We need to get a manger who knows how to get the best out of players the best 2 strikers in this league are on the way out of the door who on earth would be interested in signing for us knowing the way we play
JR must have authorized this it seems it was a straight choice between Vaughan &Doyle or Bowyer and as usual he made the wrong choice
He must see more in Bowyer than 90% of our fan base when he does finally see the light and get rid I can't think any manager worth their salt will be moving mountains to sign for us

Why does it matter who we have up front when the midfield create absolutely zero for them?

If it turns out Vaughan's 'crime' was to resist Bowyer's crapball, then Rhodes and Rupp are finished at this club IMHO, just as Rahic was last season.

 

And ignoring all the superstars we have in midfield at the minute.

The last decent victory we had was back in november against exeter. The midfield that day ended up as akpan, anderson and devine

 

And replacing vaughan with someone like Rhead would also ask questions of the clowns running our club.

 

Jon, I forsee a slight problem with running em out of town. Just who runs the show, you know purse strings and all that

 

Interim, Gibb, he's expressed an interest in 2018, I'd be surprised if he didn't want to come back.

Money not being an object to the departure of Rupp, then there isn't an issue.

 

Tonight has been a very special night.

 

Tonight is a full blown catastrophe, and the lads in charge need to realise they've delivered a mortal wound to their own leadership.

Only way of recovering this for Rhodes and Rupp is announce the dismissal of Bowyer in the morning and that Doyle and Vaughan are going nowhere.

 

Bolocks to that, l am fine with both going, can't see us getting value for money out of them.
