Sack the manager

Unless this speaker can play centre midfield and put his foot in a tackle it won't make one iota of difference.

Like a few today, I've called for Bowyer.

But here's my dilemma, just how does a new manager resolve the biggest problem? Central midfield and that holding tough battling midfielder(s) whom can break up play and put their foot on the ball.

That transfer window closure is coming real quick and is their time to sack, install a management team and get the blindingly obvious issue resolved .. I fear not...

I share your doubts and agree that is what must be done. Surely the club are already looking for a midfield enforcer though. If not they should be. I said I wouldn’t say it again but I have done. We need someone to break up the opposition’s play and tough it out with them.

 

Whether it's true or not, fundamentally I think he has lost the support of the players. You can see it in their body language, they've no confidence whatsoever and seem to have no belief in what they're being asked to do.

 

That is indeed the dilemma..how to move mountains in 6 days.

 

That would really be an indictment since he’s signed half of them not once but twice.

 

There are 1-2 positions that need strengthening, but the lack of coaching is the biggest problem.

Vaughan and Doyle? They should be shitting goals.

Yeah we need a midfield general, but Cooke, Reeves, Palmer, even Akpan and Taylor have many years championship and League 1 experience. They should not be dominated by the midfield of Crawley, Mansfield, Scunthorpe and Stevenage every week.

Mellor is shit - but still got in the league 2 team of the year a couple of years ago. Henley has won international caps for Wales.

Theres enough there to be making a much better fist of this.

The coaching is unbelievably bad. Basic pass and move football that you're taught when you're 5 years old and I'm yet to see it once.

 

It is. I suppose it too much to hope that they already have a replacement lined up! My worry is that if we continue with Bowyer to the end of the season, we will return to angry disenfranchised fans again!! I don’t think we can afford that.

 

If Bowyer makes it to the end of the season we'll struggle to break 10k STs. That's the dilemma for Rhodes.
