If i was Doyle i'd be pleading with Power to open the purse strings to bring him back, what sort of striker wants to slog their guts out every week with little to no chance of scoring. We've already ruined Vaughan.

Not one of our victories or draws has come off the back of free flowing attacking football bar possibly Swindon and first half against Salford. I thought Doyle coming back would pose problems for Bowyer and it has. He has no idea how to get the best out of his strikers, Vaughan looks fed up. We're in the play offs but not by any virtue of attacking football.

 

Sad I know but I was on the Blackpool forum to see if Scanz was tearing up league 1 and soon found myself reading about Spearing. A player who definitely divides opinion. Our own fans on the other hand have seen him play maybe a handful of times if that and make out like he’s the best thing since sliced bread...

 

I posted to the same affect Mallorca - but what worries me even more is I just hope the plans to strengthen the team where it is absolutely necessary (which we were told was all being planned back in November) have not been hijacked by all the Doyle drama. Make no mistake today was abysmal and action is needed asap - GB said he needed 2 to 3 windows to get the team/squad he wants and this non performance just highlights the point. It is not just do we have Doyle or dont we that needs addressing. What we currently have is a 'scraping into the play offs' team at best - and this probably includes the manager! Very pissed off, and I only had a short journey today so really feel for those who have 5 hours to do

Wonder where the stat quoters are tonight? I don't no stats to tell you this team is struggling, all this bollox about being unbeaten. i watch this crap every week with my own eyes, its painful. Today a lowly league 2 club completely outplayed us because our manager is tactically inept. I'd like to know just how much say he has had into Doyle coming back because its made us play worse. And thats of no fault of Doyle.

Well he should have been shown the door a long time ago. Just heard Bowyer. He is ill, so he must have been missing most of the week and certainly not up to take training. No excuse though.

 

Yes you can only pass comment on what you seen of the player, the away game at Bolton suggested to me Parkinson had told him make sure Cullen knows he's been in a game.
