What @Petrov is failing to understand but about 90% do that you sometimes have to make a football decision rather than a financial one.

There will be no gloating for me what goes round comes round we don’t know how Doyle will perform for us yet. He is a professional and I am sure he will go about his business in that way but he has made it clear where he wants to be and in today’s football players rule the roost. And I think that is what Wellens is thinking.

 

And what you fail to understand is not everyone thinks we need Doyle to achieve promotion.

 

Why he knew the score when they took him on loan? We had to cough up I don’t know how much last season for an on loan player from Huddersfield, and after that his form dropped dramatically.

 

Said before, Bowyer now under a different kind of pressure. He'll be expected to play Doyle and see him keep up his scoring run. Next few games suddenly have a whole new slant on them.

There is no gloating, we are behaving like a professional club who have an asset that is enabling a rival to remain at the top of the league. Of course there are no guarantees he will perform to the same standard I doubt very much if it will be for the want of trying, as I say he has his own career to think about. Too much credence has been given to Doyle public interview; I wonder what prompted that interview? I wonder if Wellens has had anything to do with that at all? Bowyer has been in touch with on a weekly basis, I am sure his wishes will have been communicated via that personal interaction, why make it public?

 

You can just hope that doyle returning means he'll let the shackles off now and let us go forwards freely to create chances for him. Otherwise it'll be a waste of time and he'll look stupid.

 

I think we need a thread a poll on whether people think Bowyer will start Doyler on Saturday? In fact, what line up does he go with? I'd like to think he would play him as a lone striker and pump long balls at him, just for the shits and giggles.

 

Well right now we sit 4th and not top so maybe we do.

A player that's scored over 20 goals will certainly help us achieve promotion. Madness to think otherwise

Doyle doesn't need to score 20 plus goals. If he can get 8-10 by the end of the season for us then we will be in a good place.

Vaughan will chip in and others.

We just need to make sure either him or Vaughan or both get in the box more.
