As I understand it, you had to recall him otherwise he’d stay with us on exactly the same terms as when he first signed.

However, whether that means he’s staying at Bradford or whether a new loan deal/ perm transfer is worked out, I don’t know. Hopefully it’s sorted one way or another today. Getting tedious.

Whilst I don’t want him back as I believe it won’t work, I can’t see how the club cannot recall him

Imagine the uproar, he stays and fires Swindon to promotion and we miss out all together, the onslaught of criticism would be deafening and I’m not sure the club would want or need to take such a risk.

 

Well John Hendrie believes as many do on here bringing Doyle back is a no brainer.

I AM disputing what you say. I said even top strikers miss chances.
What you said was Doyle, while playing for us was missing SITTERS, not just chances, week in week out, which isn't true.
I will agree with you when you are right but not when you are exaggerating, just to make a point.
Richie Wellens plays him differently to how we played him under our various managers/coaches/owners.

 

Swindon have had time to make us a suitable offer but if you're correct then once again it highlights how much your club tries to take the p.

It's clear to all that the terms that were set out in summer are no longer acceptable.

Swindon either think Rhodes is weak, Bradford City as a club are weak or you try to take the p all the time.

We would be mad not to recall him if you're correct and I doubt we would do business with Swindon as you've pointed out discussions would of been had and no suitable offer made it would seem and I doubt one would come in as you've had plenty of time to seal the deal.

 

Swindon have had their day, it was nice while it lasted. What should have been a mid table team - will soon become one.
We have had enough p*ss ripped out of us, now it’s time to steady the ship and crack on with our season. In 4th place, completely under performing (in the eyes of our fan base) let’s set our season alight and start upping our game.
We are the biggest club in the division and deserve to finish champions. I truly believe bringing back our player (yes OUR PLAYER) will be the catalyst of our season.

 

You say you're a business man do you pay the first quote when you buy materials for your business or do you try to negotiate the best deal you can get ?.

 

And I’ll say one more thing..... it doesn’t matter if we play Doyle or if he scores for us. What matters is that we are doing everything we can to FIGHT our way out of this division. If this was a WAR we wouldn’t be lending Swindon the biggest machine gun, we’d be using it ourselves!
Let’s do everything we can to ruin Swindon’s chances - we want this title and we want to win this BATTLE!!!!
