As did Hanson it was Stuart who brought James to the club, and Wells was here when Parkinson took over from Jacko, Jacko was not happy to take Well's it was Archie Christie who convince the club to bring him in from Carlisle.
Parkinson still had to get the best from them both which he did during the time they and he were at the club.

 

If Swindon want to gamble and pay 250 k fine I'd like us to gamble that money, if they can't or won't pay bring him back. I know which is the biggest gamble. We gambled on him already , don't bet on a donkey twice.

 

I wonder if the delay could be anything to do with us talking to any replacement. I think this Doyle episode is full of cogs and wheels, all depending on what happens. I just hope we don't do the typical, and leave it til the last minute, leaving us no chance to get replacements in.

 

Are domino's doing any deals this month if so that could be a game changer.

Yeah, not bothered!

We have signed player that have played for Leeds.. the club is done in terms of caring about what a player does.

He has every right to be proud of getting Swindon top as they wouldn't be top without him because they're shi&e.

 

Am I missing something? I don't see the issue. Is he not suppose to celebrate being top of the league?

 

he's not said anything derogatory about the club yet he still upsets some. For all the abuse the fans were giving him at the time i'd have looked for another club as well.

 

If there was a City badge at the bottom of the tree then maybe it's worth talking about but I see nothing but a bit of banter with his team mates.

 

Christ as if you'd be bothered by that. He's out on loan with Swindon teammates. He's allowed to have a bit of a laugh with them.

Some of our fans are real whoppers. As bad as those who refuse to write Leeds' name and hashtag out the middle letters, or those that were moaning at City fans complimenting Leeds on Twitter on their first half performance last night against Arsenal.

I wish in a sense they were rivals, that would put us on something of an even footing with them. As it is, we don't like them, they couldn't care less, got bigger fish to fry.

 

We watched the match last night, and I thought Leeds were brilliant in the 1st half, and we both said how the hell is that 0-0, they desperately need good strikers. Arsenal decided they had better play In the second half, and even then it was a scruffy goal, I am now consigned to not a proper city fan?

 

Apparently so! There were a number of City fans Tweeting how any City fan complimenting Leeds last night needed to take a good look at themselves. lol. Like being in the school playground.

I understand the hatred of Leeds from the older generation. Those at Odsal when the chip van was set ablaze and tipped etc, but refusing to write their name is just petty and refusing to acknowledge they played well last night is childish from them too.

It was, however, funny at the end seeing the Leeds heads go as they were flying into challenges once they'd gone a goal behind!

 

I am part of the older generation lol of course it doesn’t excuse past behaviour but you can’t live in the past. I always want them to lose but I was impressed with the style and application of their play.

 

Well I personally find it disrespectful and believe we can all draw an inference from it.
He 100% doesn’t want to come back and I don’t think he will.
