    I would go with...... ‘he scored once, early on, and then played that badly in the 8 games that followed that he got dropped to the bench’.

    Fairly straightforward and accurate. Not sure why you couldn’t have posted that originally.

    if you take every single word quite literally yes.

    has anyone never described Eoin Doyle as 'not scoring for us'? bet they have. but he did.

    so generally, he didnt score and he was that crap he couldn't get in the team.


    I know I'm disliked on here because I don't tow the party line, and have divisive opinions but I don't think this level of scrutiny/censorship from the mods is warranted and at all fair. but every time I raise my completely fair point I get ignored.

    it's a witch hunt.

    We’ll agree to disagree then. I’m gonna leave it. And probably not participate as prolifically as I once did on this forum, because I am unfairly targeted, and I can only assume it’s because I don’t kiss the arse of the club and praise every thing they do, I don’t worship the ground the messiah Phil Parkinson walks on, and I actually want the club to grow and improve rather than just being happy to have a club at all.

    It’s been a pleasure.

    I think this forum has a very broad range of views.

    You will often see a lot of posters challenging others, nothing wrong with that at all.

    I think that the acceptable view is; challenge the point of view and avoid personal invective!

    Be prepared to back up your views with evidence.

    I cant talk for everyone, but I think virtually all the posters want to see the club grow.

    Some people are big Parkinson/McCall fans others are not (I could add every City manager back to the early 1960's into that list).

    No one has got in touch with the Mods to say that they think you are 'unfairly' targeted, that seems to be your stock response if you are challenged.

    I think a lot of people on here have challenged what the club does at some point, some more often than others.

    Perhaps have a think about what you say? Reflect. Sometimes, based on others comments, have the capacity to change your mind.

    I look forward to your continued involvement.

    Please don’t patronise me Rod. I’m not daft.

    I’m unfairly treated and punished by the moderating team, and because no one has pm’d you to report it it isn’t happening? Okay.

    it’s only my response when I’m challenged by mods, because they like to ban me from threads, PM me warnings and threaten to ban me, but when I respond to question it and defend myself I get ignored.

    Yet you worship the ground the messiah Stuart McCall walked on, and he didn't bring us half the success Parkinson did, don't you seen it might be your opinion but hardly a balance one.
    Great player for us but poor manager, and I take no pleasure saying that.

    Iv'e had similar experiences. I said 'Dûcking great!" once in a completely harmless, none abusive context and it was edited out because I used a naughty word. I then received a notification explaining how it was unacceptable but I can opt for a more PC alternative If I wish, so I changed it to "bloody great!". I mean what even was the point in that?Something similar also happened a couple of days ago in the politics thread where my perfectly fine post was once again needlessly edited.

    The mods seems to take great joy in modding this forum and giving others a telling off. They are part of the reason this forum is devoid of any humour and why other good posters don't frequent as often.

    Well it all depends on how you judge him with regards other managers, I think your comments about's Phil Parkinson success at are club are equally silly things to say.
    Stuart's second spell he got us to Wembley but not promoted, during his second season he hit a bad patch and although I think Rahic could not wait to get rid of him he didn't help himself with some of his post match comments but with regards on delivering his record can't be compared to Phil Parkinson's, but I dont expect you to agree, but I believe you would be in a very small minority.
