Before joining us at 20 years old he had played 48 career games at Kidderminster and Beaconsfield. He was signed as a young prospect and some times they work out and sometimes they don’t. If he doesn’t have the ability to step up then that’s the risk the club takes when taking these young lads on.

To slag him off and make jokes about him leaving is embarrassing. End of.

 

Go out on loan mate, get more forum time and come back stronger in January.

 

Narrow pitch didnt stop Ham and Bannister, Gilly and Ingram, Sir Bobby and Hawley, Mills and Blake, Wells and Hanson though did it. Those successful striking partnerships over the years all had one thing in common, wingers or attacking midfield players supplying them.

 

Not a bad level to restart his career, many have had to step down in order to step back up, good luck to the kid.

the powers that be on this forum would do well to remember that dissenting views and disagreements make a forum worth coming back to.

 

Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't. He won't be the first player to be signed up on the back of a game or two of promise only to fall down the non league pecking order. That said i wish the lad no ills and hope the move goes well for him, lets face it, bar Wells we're hardly a place for aspiring strikers are we?

I wouldn't say he was outstanding but considering he got us within 1 game of the Championship and then had us in and around the play offs the following year, despite the obvious interference I'd say he did an excellent job, all things considered.

Devine has not looked out of place in this team and is certainly no worse than the rest of our midfield and at least is mobile and will work hard,

 

Or maybe he was just never going to be good enough regardless of how he trained. If you're a young player andsomeone offers you a 3 year deal to play at a professional club you are always going to have confidence in your own ability that you can do it. Some players hit their peak at an early age and never kick on as they are maximising their ability or they get over hyped early on and the expectation of where they can get to was never going to happen.

Heard on the radio today - 12 games in the Conference last night, 23 of 24 teams scored a combined total of 53 goals. The only team not to score.....Wrexham. Well played Omari!!!!

 

Anyway, back to Omari scoring 2 goals last night.

 

Reading their forum, they think he's a right player.

Pleased for him.
