I told him to stop acting like a child. I think a lot of the moaning is petulant and unnecessary.

 

The most important thing for Rahic is to get someone in who he wants not who he thinks we want there can be no excuses then. They have to have the same ideas and mutual respect or the merry go round will continue. On their way up Swansea made shrewd appointments but we seem to have been doing the opposite.

 

He only played 14 games for us scoring twice.

Scored the winner against Newcastle at home on a Tuesday night (1990)...a belting strike in off the underside of the bar at the kop end...might be wrong but think it was the infamous John Docherty's first game in charge.

 

I was thinking more of the ones brought in during the summer. To be fair, the January recruits performed better than their counterparts after January.

 

Remember Doc’s first game being 3-2 against Newcastle and the underside of the bar.

 

I remember that game well for some reason. What a cracking atmosphere that night was.

From the bookies lists, Warburton or McCann for me. We will probably end up with Cathro, or another relatively unknown coach who has worked with youngsters
