The problem is, and I noticed this at Walsall a lot is how far him and Vaughan are away from each other when we come forward.

 

C-D needs to get off the field. This is not his sort of game. He missed a sitter, he can’t take it round a man. He has good hold up play but he is being selfish and wants to score. He needs to play to his strengths and play other people in.

 

Surely Oteh gets a run out, because even if McCartan fills in when he gets his 5th booking, we can't have a lad on the bench with zero minutes.

So does he need to get off the pitch or start playing more like a target man?

Frankly, he's come very close to scoring once, I wouldn't be taking him off just yet - if he gets another chance, he'll probably score.

We're not in this at all. Anderson (scapegoat) is anonymous, as is Pritchard. Our back four actually look composed and solid. Mellor with a few timely interventions. Donaldson really should have scored. He reminds me of a Tony Daley type -tangled legs and runs over the ball before stepping on it. Vaughan has been booked and needs to keep his composure this second half, as I'm sure Cheltenham are going to have the majority of possession again.

Cooke on for Anderson, Ismail on for Connelly is the order of the day to get things moving.
