According to this Lincoln news article they received £200k for Woodyard and you think they 'Invested' this in a £100000.00 loan fee for McCarten.

 

Yes, he could move down to the south coast, and get home when he can. My husband had to work away from home, not out of ambition but sheer necessity.

Odd, although its wages saved I suppose. Personally thought he was a better prospect than devine but devitt coming in now will be good business.

 

So that's why he didn't sign...

 

Only passing on what I was told, they got a lot more then 200k for him (release clause triggered) apparently plus addons as 2 other clubs wanted him and he became Peterborough captain very quickly. The "investment" worked for Lincoln, it's a well run club.

 

I think Colville will come good there and go on and have a good career.
