I'm not sure it's because i've had a glass or two of a nice Bordeaux, but reading the last few threads, i can't seem to find a single thread where you've posted any kind of positive reply. I may have overlooked something but my overall impression is that you simply have nothing nice to say about we're being run as a club. Everyone is aware of how awful things have developed over the last 24 months but everyone except you and the odd insignificant other couple of posters on here see their glass as half full. Four games in, 2nd in the table, one goal conceded, unbeaten and new signings performing well, what more could we possibly ask for? I for one see a bright future.

Not a chance Vaughan is without doubt the man we need as Captain he brings such enthusiasam to our team a bit over zealous at times but rather a Captain who leads by example.

Just a hunch but think we might go 4-3-3. Front 3 of Vaughan, Donaldson and Scannell. Palmer, Cooke and Devine in midfield and Wood to move to left back.

I hope not. Wood has been far more effective than Scannell so far and we need his deliveries further up the pitch.

 

We should always be asking for more. For too long this fan base has just been happy with what we’ve got and that seeps all round the club.. just being around isn’t good enough and we should always demand more..

This midfield is a major weak link we’re also giving away too many corners and free kicks around 80 in 4 league games is too many. So that needs improving, our inability to stop teams pushing forward on us at will.. the defence won’t keep teams out alone, they need help
