Would be nice in Doyle's place though. No chance of happening though way too good for League 2.

this point is fair enough, and I don't advocate shoe horning him into the side - far from it, I just think if we're going to play 433, then we need a more natural number 10, ironically, Billy Clarke would have been ideal.
Doyle is plenty good enough in League 2 to play as a striker, whether thats ahead of Vaughan or Donaldson or on the bench to come on, and cover while one of them is out.

would be a hell of a player for us and just what we need. Take a few cards in the Andrew Davies mould

was talking about him to a Sunderland fan at the weekend. They paid him off so arguably he could take a lower wage

Doubt that will happen. Rupp is a business man with little interest or knowledge of football. I believe he's a bit like Mike Ashley in so far as 'here's your budget mate, I trust you to spend it wisely as that's all you're getting'.

    And Newcastle are failing.

It's one of the reasons why I wouldn't lose lose if Mr Rupp goes.

Until he's had a decent run in a pairing up front.

If we're not going to give him that though then I agree that he should be nowhere near the team and shipped out at the earliest possible moment.

he's not rubbish. he wouldn't have the number of league goals he has in his career if he was rubbish.

He's been rubbish for us, that undeniable but what's also undeniable is that we haven't provided the right conditions to at least give him the best chance of succeeding.

What is he then? A hot plant? We simple cannot afford such a limited striker in the basement. He is a tap in merchant, but due to our lack of midfield we are unable to service, so I would sell him, or give him away, so we can afford a better midfield.

He's a poacher who works best in a pair.

I agree with the rest though, I said it two posts ago.
