The Edmundson link was mentioned on here about a month/6 weeks ago, so there could be something in it. Highly regarded and I'm sure Paudie will have given Bowyer the heads up. Hes only 18 ish so might not quite be ready for the Scum first team. Loans will be more likely now could be a good addition if it comes off. Seems to be loads of players jumping ship at Leeds at the mo! Long may it continue

I'm guessing he maybe 'spoke' to Bielsa on Sunday.

Colville hasn't had an agent until today to help him go through the ins and outs of the contract offer
Totally understandable he's been waiting to accept or decline

Agree with you regarding Colville. I think if he signs hes one who'll develop with good coaching. Liked what I saw of him anyway under the ginger porridge cobbler. Anderson... not seen anything from him to warrant keeping him

When he first came into the team he looked pretty clueless. Wandered around central midfield doing very little and when he did touch the ball he usually lost it.
By the end he looked pretty mobile, getting up and down the pitch, shielding the defence fairly well and having the occasional pop at goal. His passing improved too.
He was a long way from being Stuart McCall or Gary Jones but I saw enough to think there's a decent box to box CM lurking in there.
I think it must have been really hard to walk into such a demoralised, dysfunctional setup and try to find some form when everyone around you was getting progressively worse.
My hope is that with a proper pre-season, in a balanced side with a decent manager he can start to show the sort of form that had him highly rated before his bad injuries. The fact that he's been given a contract suggests that Bowyer thinks this is a reasonable possibility.

    Does he?

Time will tell on that one! So far he's failed like all of the players from last year that are still here.

Great mind games played by GB .......... And truly reflects Colvilles actual value to the overall squad.
GB is happy to wait, as Colville scrats around for a better offer that is unlikely to arrive. But come the Cambridge game - If Colville has not signed - Then expect him to feel the harsh reality of being kicked arse first out of the football door.

    Sorry, bud .........

But when you allow the poor standards of those around you to affect your own standards - Then perhaps it's your own standards that are to blame first and foremost ?

Come on Ronnie. Last season was a disaster from start to finish. The morale and atmosphere in the dressing room and the training ground must have been toxic. I defy anyone to walk into the middle of that shitshow last January and perform to their best, especially when you are short of fitness and game time to start with.

Here’s me thinking it’s about scoring more goals than the opposition. Who knew.

You don’t need an agent to take 10% of your income to agree a contract, you need a solicitor on an hourly rate to review it.

Robbie Gotts is a right back/ central midfield player apparently, the next David Batty, according to the link I saw, maybe just what we need on loan

Edmondson is a prolific goalscorer at under 23 level

Interesting if we are targeting them as possible loan signings

It would do us no harm in forging a bond with Leeds for potentisl loan signings

I'm sure Paudie will make them feel at home!

If a 19 year old signs a contract with a football club without having appropriate advice, he could sue us to high heaven if he found something he didn't like/understand in it. You can thank Bjork for that particular piece of contract law.

He hasn't been a footballer since yesterday.

Football agents have been around for years and years.

It's not our issue he is pi&&ing about looking for an agent. He isn't that good mate.
