    Garbage. One scored important goals during his time with us and gave his all for the shirt. Yes was limited but played a role in many important games and was part of a side that progressed up the league.

    The other undoubtably with better pedigree didn’t give a shit last season. Didn’t put himself on the line for the club. Could have delivered far more.

    Hanson is not the answer moving forwards.
    But to say he isn’t fit to laces Doyle’s boots is laughable.

    What relevance does any of that have?

    If you're using Hanson's "important goals" and his "role in a side that progressed up the league" as a yardstick, then you're clearly prepared to go back 6/7 years to justify him. It doesn't mean anything now though does it?

    Even the version of Hanson you're talking about was decisive at best. He's now completely flushed up and isn't fit to lace most players boots, including Doyle.

    Based on the inept performances of the individuals claiming to be footballers and unable to contribute to a team for the Bradford City cause last season - I would argue none are currently fit to lace Hanson's boot for the contribution he made while he was at City.

    Hanson’s aerial threat makes him a valuable squad asset for any third tier side, even if its to chuck him on in the 70th minute for set pieces.

    If I recall correctly he scored 3 very important goals in the last few games to help keep Wimbledon up.

    If we are comparing it to Hanson's overall stint in a City shirt, then I agree.

    I don't see what relevance performances dating back to 2012 have though. If that's how far back we're going, then we should build our team around Josh Wright as he was playing Championship football for Millwall during that period.

    As I said, it has no relevance and as things stand, I'd much prefer Doyle to Hanson.
