    Very true RT
But for all Simon Parkers short comings he can only report what snippets he is being fed by the club
Our PR is absolutely atrocious and is the main reason why there is "unrest" amongst fans. It could be cleared up very quickly by the club stating and carrying out their intentions
One can only presume Todds departure was down to the club or GB would be publicly thanking him for his services and how sad he was that his "circumstances" had forced him to leave
The club appear to be toying with supporters releasing such cryptic announcements Dare I suguest that now 13000 season tickets have been sold the fans don't matter
I can understand the total ban on not releasing details of player targets but surely this doesn't apply to off field staff
Whether the club realizes it or not this is a very crucial time and they need the backing of everyone involved
Come on City let's have a bit of straight talking and keep the fans in the picture

Or Todd didn't fancy working in the cess pit that is League 2. He left by mutual consent by all accounts.

    https://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/news/2018/june/andy-todd-to-leave-coaching-position/

When Todd left Blackpool he had a valid reason read the link above.
Perhaps these so called circumstances are nothing more than the above and not some financial undercurrent running decisions at the club.
Of course we have taken a monetary hit we got relegated but that doesn't mean losing certain staff in backroom positions to ease the wage bill.
Player's have already been released but they will have to be replaced just like the number two position.
Untill the club say different there's a backroom vacancy which I expect to be filled by Bowyer.

This is where we miss someone in the capacity that James Mason had the link between the club and the fans, but that will be another wage.

All the club has to do is put the info out and there would be no speculation. Needs to be better communication from the club, its been a problem since Mason went.

Exactly we need any kind of link between the club and the fans
At a time when the club should be bombarding everyone with positivity the silence is deafening
A good PR person would more than cover his expenses/wages in the first couple of months They have unlimited potential, heart should be taken from the season ticket take up with very little or no marketing we are unique product in our own right and a PR persons dream
Everyone says football is a business and I agree and as any business man will tell you their business needs promoting or it will badly flounder basic business sense really.
You have to speculate to accumulate
Someone needs to get this show on the road and start making money for GB to rebuild this team
As Fordy says it's all "negative"

Agree Bantamsteve the club really need to hype things up and push on to next season keeping fans updated and in the picture. I received an email from # Bingley Bantams today regarding this years beer festival at Valley Parade 29th June well done Bingley Bantams.Nothing on the club site regarding events.
We may be down but let’s get up again so come on Glen have a word with your colleagues.
Or maybe ring Mick O’Neill at Cougar Park they are turning it around Stevie Wonder on next Friday night,

It's not a difficult job there's only one Bradford City let's go for it
    Potential customers are everywhere
If Keighley Cougars can do it (no disrespect) why can't Bradford City
Time to step up to the plate

The problem is you two are complete opposites. Park, as you said, comes out with the sun is always shining bollox. But equally, there is always a rain cloud over your posts. There is never any perspective from either of you.

Anyway, you haven’t got time to be posting on here. You still haven’t submitted your application to join the board. Stop keeping that £3k cheque in your back pocket and accepting mediocrity

I’m not sure numbers were ever discussed. As soon as the interest was confirmed, Rahic said the club was not for sale and that was that.

    Unless you know differently?

“Trusted number2”? He’s been in the job for a matter of months. Hardly a trusted no2 mate.

Doesn't sound mutual then, more a finanacial decision.

Jason McKeown still insisting on WOAP this morning that not a cost cutting exercise, reading Bowyer's comments this morning, I cannot see it being anything other than that as Bowyer clearly wanted him to stay

So looks like Bowyer is stuck with Drury, who is clearly out of his depth. I hope Bowyer is not having second thoughts already about accepting his own 2 year contract.

Bowyer almost word for word to Hopkin re recruiting and players wanting too much, wonder if he’ll get the same level of criticism when the signings are made.

Agree entirely Idle it sounds like we are watching the pennies and going for the cheapest option AGAIN It's too early to say for definite whether Mr Rupp will be true to his word and fund us out of the mess he and Mr Rahic got us in to but to me it's not a good start
GB is untried with us but so far seems to be making all the right noises
Chopping his non playing staff can only make his job ,more difficult and obviously put doubt in his mind re the boards intentions Todd was part of the "fresh start" seems to be going backwards in my opinion

Maybe letting Todd go is our way of showing agents and other clubs that we’re not as loaded as they think we are?
