It won’t be. Just because they haven’t been released doesn’t mean they’re going to be the first choice pair in midfield.


In any case, I think Anderson May be okay in league 2.

I’m disappointed we’ve released Billy Clarke though.

 

So that leaves:

O'Donnell, Mellor, O'Connor, Wood, Akpan, Wright, Riley, Scannell, Doyle, GSK, Goldthorp, Patrick. Plus the 3 that have been offered deals.

Priority for me is getting shut of Riley, Wright, Akpan and O'Donnell. There'll be better keepers out there, and we need the wages from the other 3. Scannell will be off too, and most likely Doyle. If we can shift most of those then we'll have a good 10 or so spots in the squad and should have a decent budget to go and strengthen.

 

I am pleased Anderson has been given a contract started slow but for a player who has had two cruciate injuries at the age of 22 I think he got better as time went on. It also shows strength of Character. I think he will be a useful part of the Squad

 

happy to see all those go.. mcgowan will be a big wage we can claw back. caddis would be a big wage to sit on the bench for 90% of the season. we won’t miss any of those been released, none of them offer anything we can’t get elsewhere.

 

Really hope Scannell stays

At least we never have to endure Chicksen or Knight-Percival clusterf*cking their way around the pitch in a City shirt ever again.

He’s worked hard to impresss Bowyer and is worth a chance. I know we have a hatred for him on here but that’s nothing new.

I wish more at put the effort in he has to get in the managers plans. Might not be in this mess.

 

I think he will as he has apparently just moved into a house that the club rent for players
