Club Suggestions Thread

I would like to take the credit. The reality is that campaign was planned and rolled out before my arrival and the credit goes to the PR, Media and Commercial teams for the ideas and the ticket office crew for working long hours to cope with the demand.

I must say that I've been immensely impressed to have seen what they do behind the scenes.

 

Whoever came up with the idea for GB ringing supporters tell them well done, it caused a bit of a stir on twitter!

 

It was probably his own idea - got bored of wasting his time on the training ground and asked JR if he needed anything doing.

 

Maybe it was the guy on here's idea who suggested he withdrew from 1st team affairs and started to ring season ticket holders to cure his boredom?

 

It will never end !!!

Next season could you please ask Ifollow to use the Pulse instead of Radio Leeds because their post match coverage is far superior. Radio Leeds just have a phone in for Leeds, Huddersfield and CIty fans while the Pulse concentrate on City only.

 

There are a lot of people who would like to ask questions about Mr Rupps intentions for the immediate and long term future.
Next time he is in the country would it be possible to have a fans forum or radio phone in to answer some of these

 

Cant see that happening mate, who would front it, Julian doesn't like the limelight and Stefan usually does his talking through press releases.

 

I know Julian wouldn’t be up for it but I think Stefan might see it as a way of healing some rifts

 

There have been press releases by the club confirming Stefan's commitment and also statements by Julian along similar lines.

The fans forum is a good idea. I'll keep you posted.

 

Can we find out when we are going to show support in bowyer and get his own choice of backroom team tied down for next season?

 

What is happening regarding the announcement of the playing kit for next season? Would it not be possible to have this made next week on the day of the Wimbledon match and the team wear the kit for the match? It could be promoted as "The only way is up" or "Bright future" etc. By doing this would cultivate interest and enthusiasm amongst the faithful before they depart for the summer and generate interest for the final match.

 

Geoff was really good at promoting the club and raising money, Trouble was he was even better at spending it,

 

It may have cost us in admin terms but my god what a roller coaster ride. No one could sell you a dream more than BFG. But very much to his credit he knew what was required to hit the big time. And lets face it, with out his vision we wouldn't have had the ground we have today would have bummed round the lower leagues like we did for the majority of our history.

 

The one thing BFG had that we lack is his vision and drive, We never had it before he came and have never had a chairman since with those qualities of striving to bring success through a vision and passion to succeed.

 

I defy anyone to tell me they wouldn't want BFG to come marching through the doors at Valley Parade like he did 25 years ago and shake this club to its foundations, especially if it meant a few years out of habitual home of the lower two divisions.

 

He was a gambler, not if it meant admin again, I never want that again ever.
